Your mental health is important. Living in a clean place with decent food and nice people matters more than saving a thousand rupees. Seriously. Don't sacrifice too much on quality just for cheaper rent.

Keep all documents safe—agreements, receipts, payment records. Had a deposit dispute once and I got it resolved easily because I had everything documented.

Kokar is genuinely a good place to PG. It's not fancy, but it's solid. You get decent accommodation at affordable rates, plus a community feeling that matters. I've been here three years and honestly, it's been good.
